Birakara Joly of the Democratic Republic of Congo is a guest of Joe Shetler and is staying at his home while he visits Milford. While Joly cannot speak English, Shetler can speak Tshiluba so that the two can communicate.

Birakara Joly, the vice president of the Mennontie Church in the Democratic Republic of Congo, will preach at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 11 at the Milford Mennonite Chapel, located at 301 Beer Rd.

Joly will preach in his native language of Tshiluba, which is in the Bantu language family. An interpreter will be present to translate his words to English.

After the service, Joly will answer questions about Congo.
