Jerry and Cindy (Smith) Kammerer of  Leesburg, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, at the Leesburg Lions Building.

They were married Dec. 8, 1963, at Leesburg Methodist Church.

The couple have three children: Scott (Janet) Kammerer, Leesburg; Todd Kammerer, Leesburg; and Bart Kammerer, Leesburg. They also have six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Jerry retired from the Leesburg Grain Elevator and Cindy retired from Leesburg Elementary School.
