Wildstock 2, a day full of music and fun to benefit animals that are rehabilitated at Seven’s Heaven Wildlife Rescue And Rehabilitation Center, is coming Saturday, Aug. 17.
Seven’s Heaven is a non-profit animal rescue and rehabilitation center located near Pierceton. Orphaned, injured and abandoned wildlife, as well as displaced domestic, farm and even exotic animals are given a second chance at life at Seven’s Heaven, which is funded strictly by donations, contributions, fundraisers and benefits such as Wildstock 2, and the kindness of fur-huggers and animal lovers from all over.
Some of the finest musicians around have donated their time and talents for this cause to make Wildstock 2 possible. The day begins at 10 a.m. with musical performances that will continue until 10 p.m.
The roster of performers for the day includes Blue Moon, Ivory West, Michael Kelsey, Almost Gone, Ryan Caudill & Country Kross Roads, Short Term Memories, Shane Smith and St. Sitra Chamber.
There will be plenty of fun for the entire family as Wildstock 2 takes place at the North Webster American Legion outdoor pavilion. In addition to food vendors, face painting, a petting zoo, coloring contest, games, pony rides and a silent auction will continue all day.
Although it is a benefit to raise money for the animal rescue, no pets are allowed during the all day event, which also featured Stacey Page as the emcee for the day.
Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and coolers (no glass), and plan to spend the day enjoying all of the musical entertainment of Wildstock 2.
Wildstock 2 is made possible by North Webster American Legion, Accur-Cut Machine, the Law Office of James S. Butts P. C., Maverick Promotions, Top Dogz, The Dixie Boat, Sweetheimer Trash Removal, Summer Song Ice Cream, KISS FM Radio, Trueblood Designs, Curbside Gourmet Food Trailer, Grill-N-Grate BBQ, Hank’s Tattoo and Heartsongs.
