The 2013 Lake Tippecanoe Cottage Tour, hosted by Tippecanoe Watershed Foundation, proved to be a success with approximately 350 participates taking to Lake Tippecanoe July 27 to view six lake homes.

In pontoons carrying at least six people each, groups took turns visiting the six stops. Fifty-eight local businesses sponsored the event, and 62 volunteers helped the event go off without a hitch.

Houses featured in the 2013 tour were the Stonger Home, site A; Ferguson Home, site B; Murray Home, site C; Anderson Home, site D; Rutter home, site E; and Contos Home, site F.

More than $20,000 was raised to benefit TWF, an organization that aims to protect and improve the lakes and stream of the Upper Tippecanoe River Watershed. The original oil painting completed by Tippy resident, Shawn Deitch, was sold for $2,000. The five limited-edition reprints of the painting were also bought for a combined $1,850.
