Curtis Lee George, 26, of Nappanee, Ind., passed away Sunday, July 28, 2013, in his residence.

He was born May 30, 1987, in South Bend, Ind., to James and Carol (Osgood) George. He attended NorthWood High School and had worked at Cequent in Goshen, Ind. He had served in the United States Army.

Curtis is survived by a son: James George, Goshen; his parents; two brothers: Clayton (Savannah) George, Nappanee; James George, Niles, Mich.: three sisters: Diane (Bob) George, Niles; Lisa Green, Niles; Angel (Bill) Robinson, Berrian Springs, Mich.; grandmother: Lucy (Jim) Singleton, Mishawaka, Ind.; step-brother: Jason (Faith) Lee, Kansas; and stepsister: Caitlin Lee, Monroe, Mich.

Visitation will take place from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, at Thompson-Lengacher and Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 1, at the funeral home. Reverend Terry Tyler will officiate and burial will be in South Union Cemetery.
