AJGA Pairings Set For Tuesday

AJGA LogoWARSAW – The tournament pairings are set for the 2013 American Junior Golf Association Stonehenge Junior Open.

Tournament plays begins Tuesday morning at 7:30 a.m. at Stonehenge Country Club, with amateurs from all over the country taking part in the three-day event.

Warsaw will have a good representation, six golfers in the field. Jonny Hollar will open his tournament at 8:20 a.m. with Reid Cameron teeing off 10 minutes later.  Josh Ahlersmeyer will go off at 9:10 a.m. followed by Will Petro at 9:20 a.m. A pair of afternoon tees will have Brandon Eckert tee at 2:10 p.m. and Ryan Cultice at 2:20 p.m.

Several area golfers are also on the schedule for Stonehenge.

Columbia City’s Tyler Green and Fort Wayne’s Michael Filler will each tee off at 8 a.m. and Fort Wayne Dwenger’s Callahan Elzey is set to tee at 8:10 a.m. Mishawaka Marian’s Michael Makris and East Noble’s Michael Sharp will both tee at 8:40 a.m.

The afternoon will see LaVille’s Zach Gurtner tee at 12:30 p.m. and John Glenn’s Tyler Prentkowski go at 1:20 p.m. The lone area girl in the field, Fort Wayne Blackhawk’s Jaycee Bunner, will tee at 2:10 p.m.

Past champions at Stonehenge include JD Lehman of Bluffton, SC, at 207 in 2012 and Adam Wood of Zionsville at 203 in 2011. On the girls side were Madelin Gedeon of Roseville, Calif., at 217 in 2012 and Lindsey Weaver of Scottsdale, Ariz., at 204 in 2011.
