Each month, the senior living community of Gardens at Lake City does some kind of activity for its residents and their families. This month, the residents were treated to a cruise-in car show.

Held Wednesday night, the show featured Big Al’s Car Club. Kirsti Kiser is the Meaningful Pursuits coordinator at Gardens at Lake City and said of the show, “It was such a nice thing to see all the residents reminiscing about similar cars they had in their past. It really is a joy for me to do things like this and have such a wonderful turnout and see smiles on all of their faces. I love it!”

The men who generously brought their cars out for the show were Craig Price, Dwayne Hoover, Jerry Martin and Dan Drabenstott, all with Big Al’s Car Club; and David Sheets.

Gardens at Lake City is a senior living community for short-term care, respite care, assisted living, independent living and companion living.
