PIERCETON – On a sultry Sunday, Plymouth continued its red-hot tournament run.
The Plymouth team blanked Nappanee 9-0 in the Senior District 11 12-U Town and Country Tournament to remain undefeated.
Plymouth moves into the championship game of the eight-team event tonight. Plymouth, now 3-0 in the tourney, faces Nappanee for the district championship.
Nappanee bounced back on Sunday to earn its spot in the title game tonight by defeating Manchester 13-3. Manchester had beaten Mentone 6-2 earlier Sunday.
The championship game tonight pitting Plymouth versus Nappanee begins at 6 p.m. If Nappanee wins, the two teams will play a second game immediately after the first one to determine the champion.
