Outland VB Squad Shines At Nationals

WARSAW – A volleyball team made up of young ladies from the Outland Volleyball Club turned in an impressive performance in a national tournament.

The team finished the AAU Jr. Nationals held in Orlando, Florida ranked 22nd out of 153 teams competing in the 17s Premier Division. The squad, coached by Tricia Howard, played 12 matches in the tournament held June 23-26.

Members of the Outland team, which is based in Warsaw, included Peyton Adamiec, Jordyn Linderman and Katie Voelz of Warsaw and Cassie Hoag of Edgewood Middle School.

The roster also boasted Paige Price of Lakeland Christian Academy in Winona Lake, along with Laura Craig of Northridge, Mackenzie Granitz of Concord and Hannah Wyngarden of Elkhart Christian Academy.
