Dorothy Lavern (Hogan) Ingle, 82, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 6:30 a.m. Friday, June 21, 2013, in her residence.
She was born May 30, 1931, in Silver Lake, Ind., to Arthur Hogan and Alice Gaut. On Aug. 13, 1955, in Nappanee, Ind., she was united in marriage to Wayne M. Ingle who preceded her in death on June 26, 1976.
She was a 15-year employee of Sun Metal of Warsaw, IN retiring in 1998. She attended Warsaw Wesleyan Church.
She enjoyed her time with her family and grandchildren. She loved to read, crotchet and scrapbook. The singles group at Warsaw Wesleyan Church was also a big part of her life.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law: Tammie (Tusing) Ingle, Seattle, Wash.; sons: Randy Ingle; Ron (Tecey) Ingle; and Bryan (Jessie) Ingle, all of Warsaw; grandchildren: Tyler, Michael, Cameron and Alexander Ingle, all of Warsaw; Zach Netzley, Warsaw; Neil Tusing, Washington; Jake Tusing, Florida; and sisters: Dee (Hogan) Maggart, Cromwell, Ind.; and Shirley (Hogan) Greer, Larwill, Ind.
She was preceded in death by a son: John “Yohaun” Ingle; and a sister: Velma (Hogan) Secrist.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 29, at Warsaw Wesleyan Church. Services will follow at noon Saturday. Pastor Rev. Andrew Weaver will officiate the services. Private burial will be at Union Center Cemetery of Nappanee, Ind., at a later date.
