A strong storm that moved through Etna Green this evening resulted in a broken water line.

According to Pete Paseka of Construction Services of Indiana that is on-site repairing the line, lightning struck a tree causing the water line to “explode.”

Many residents of the town are without water this evening and StaceyPageOnline.com is told that, when the line is repaired, a boil order will be in effect for up to 48 hours.
