The Kosciusko County F.A.C.T. team and Samaritan air ambulance were called to an accident on McKenna Road near Robert Lewis Drive, Leesburg, that occurred at 4:20 p.m. Friday.

According to reporter Deb Patterson, the accident involved only a bicycle and no other vehicle. A witness stated the male bicyclist went over the handle bars and was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. He sustained serious head injuries.
