The Salvation Army has mobilized to help with disaster response units in hard hit areas in Central Oklahoma – including Moore, Okla., where at least 51 people were killed – and South Oklahoma City.

The Salvation Army is requesting monetary donations to help with the critical needs of supplies to provide food and clean-up materials for personnel, volunteers and the people affected by the storm. Donors are encouraged to give online at SalvationArmyUSA.org or by calling 1-800-SAL-ARMY.

The word “STORM” can also be sent by text to 80888 to make a $10 donation through your mobile phone. To confirm your gift, respond with the word “Yes.”

Donations in the form of checks designated to Oklahoma Tornado Relief may be mailed to: The Salvation Army, P.O. Box 12600, Oklahoma City, OK  73157.
