The Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation will offer bus transportation for Summer School 2013.

Buses will run Monday through Friday starting Monday, June 3, through Friday, July 5.  Summer school buses will not stop at individual homes but at numerous locations throughout the entire school corporation. Parents/guardians will be responsible for transporting students to and from the pick-up and drop-off locations.

Bus transportation will be provided only for summer school classes/activities that begin from 7:55 a.m. through 8:10 a.m. and conclude from noon to 12:15 p.m. There will be no bus transportation provided for afternoon activities. All students riding the bus will have the opportunity to eat breakfast and lunch (at no cost) through the summer meals program the schools are providing.  Students will be dismissed to their bus after lunch.

Each summer school bus will follow a specific schedule of approximate pick-up and drop-off times. Each stop will be brief. Parents/guardians are encouraged to have their child at the bus stop prior to the scheduled time. If there is no one at the bus stop, the bus will continue on.

Summer school bus schedules are tight in order to complete all the stops before classes begin. It is important someone be present at the stop to pick-up each child when the bus arrives to drop-off students. Adult supervision will not be provided at any bus stop.

Summer school bus schedules and maps of the summer school bus stops are available from the office of each TVSC school. Parents/guardians are encouraged to contact their child’s school if additional information is needed.
