Unlicensed Taxidermist In Possession Of Indoor Grow Operation

Indiana Conservation Officer’s served a search warrant on the Kendallville residence of Jason A. Maxston Wednesday afternoon.

Conservation Officers received information that Maxston was performing taxidermy work without a state license. Conservation Officer’s served the warrant on Maxston’s residence and an outbuilding located on the property.

Conservation Officer’s discovered an indoor marijuana grow operation containing approximately 30 marijuana plants, a large amount of processed marijuana, numerous drug paraphernalia items, methamphetamine and multiple illegally possessed fish and animals for taxidermy purposes.

Maxston was taken to the Noble County Jail and booked on multiple felony charges.
