images-7Softball Squad Tops Panthers

The Warsaw softball team continued its run of success in conference play by beating host and league foe NorthWood 7-4 Wednesday night.

Junior Kaleigh Speicher notched the pitching win for Warsaw, which improves to 7-11 overall and 7-4 in the Northern Lakes Conference.

Karly Jones led the offense for the Tigers in their second win of the season over the Panthers with three hits and two RBI.

Warsaw plays at NLC foe Northridge Friday evening.

 

NorthWood Cools Off Tigers

Host NorthWood cooled off a surging Tiger baseball team with a 4-1 win Wednesday in Northern Lakes Conference action in Nappanee.

The Tigers, who had won their last four league games, drop to 9-9 overall and 7-4 in the NLC.

Jared Lemler and Jason Ferguson each went 2-3 at the plate to pace the Tigers. Caleb Moneyheffer scored the lone run for Warsaw.

Tyler LaFollette took the pitching loss for the Tigers.

Warsaw hosts Tippecanoe Valley tonight (May 9) in a makeup game.

The Warsaw JV team posted a 13-1 win over NorthWood. Sterling Hay had three hits for the winners and Austin Perdieu collected the pitching win.

The Warsaw JV, now 10-7 overall and 7-4 in the NLC, hosts Northridge Friday.
