At approximately 3:35 p.m. today members of the Silver Lake Fire Department and Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call of a freight liner on its side at 10131 S. County Farm Rd., Silver Lake.

The vehicle is owned by Wildman’s Business Group, Warsaw. Though the vehicle was completely on its side, the driver, Trevor D. Jones, was able to exit unharmed.

According to the Jones, the accident occurred when his steering wheel column locked up. Attempting to avoid a ditch, the driver pulled the steering wheel to the left causing the vehicle to flip onto its side due to over correction.
