SYRACUSE – The Wawasee Kiwanis and the Syracuse Parks Department will hots a Pitch, Hit & Run Competition for area youth on May 4.

The skills competition, sponsored by Major League Baseball, begins at 2:30 p.m. at the Howard Schrock Athletic Complex in Syracuse.

The free event is open to boys and girls ages 7-14. Local winners will advance on to further competition.

All participants must bring a copy of their birth certificate in order to take part in the competition. They must also have a parent or guardian fill out a registration/waiver form prior to the event.
