John D. Hunter, 84, of Roann, Ind., passed away at 5:30 a.m., Thursday, April 11, 2013, at Timbercrest of North Manchester, Ind.

He married Barbara Duzenberry on March 12, 1950. She preceded him in death.

A celebration of life will be held at Calvary Baptist Church at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 20, with Pastor Matt Haynes officiating. A private family service will be at the Akron Cemetery with burial to follow.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church of Wabash or the Wabash County Hospice.

Hartzler Funeral Home in Akron has been entrusted with the arrangements.
