BOURBON – Mallorie Jennings had a big game Monday to pace the Triton softball team to a victory.
Jennings earned the pitching win in the circle as the host Trojans held off Tippecanoe Valley 5-3.
Jennings had 14 strikeouts in the win and also had a two-run home run in the fourth inning for Triton.
Krystal Sellers led the offense for the Trojans by going 3-3 at the plate with a solo home run in the first inning.
Danielle Adams and Kassidy Shepherd each had two hits, including a double by Adams, for Valley. Alaya Pelo drove in a pair of runs for the Vikings.
