Milford Fire Department responded to a grass fire at 8271 N. 300 E., south of CR 900 North this afternoon. Debris and grass around an old barn burned on property owned by John and Dale Joan Stoffel, according to county information.

While at that fire, all firefighters were called to a second grass fire between CR 250 East and CR 300 East, along the CSX railroad tracks and behind Maple Leaf Farm Mill.
