Kosciusko Community Hospital recently partnered with Multi-Township EMS services by donating $3,500 to sponsor the purchase of 1,000 “Friends and Family Adult/Child CPR Anytime” kits.

Multi-Township EMS started a community directive called “One Heart Program” that focuses on increasing community awareness of the importance of learning cardiopulmonary resuscitation and providing educational tools for all age groups. Correctly performing CPR can increase cardiac arrest survival rates.

The CPR kits are available for community members so that they can participate in a learning program that teaches core cardiopulmonary resuscitation skills in 20 minutes using a personal education kit. For further information about the training program, call 574-269-1975.
