The generosity of the Women of Grace group at Grace College resulted in creating more than 60 comfort kits for the Red Cross when the group met to hold their regularly scheduled meeting and assemble the kits.

The Red Cross routinely gives a comfort kit to each family member affected by a house fire.  A comfort kit includes items like shampoo and conditioner, toothbrush and toothpaste, soap and washcloth – and other personal items fire families need when they’ve just lost everything.

The Red Cross extends their gratitude for this group’s time and contributions. The Red Cross staff across the country is comprised of 96 percent volunteers and cannot carry out their mission without volunteers and donors like Women of Grace.
