William C. ‘Chuck’ Spencer

SpencerWilliam C. “Chuck” Spencer, 55, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 5:05 a.m. Monday, March 25, 2013, in his home.

He was born Feb. 26, 1958, in Paintsville, Ky., to James and Polly (Click) Spencer. On May 6, 1976, he married Tamra Walters in Paintsville. He moved to Kosciusko County in 1997.

William was an independent over the road semi-truck driver who loved to camp, enjoyed fishing, loved to spend many hours hunting turkey and deer. He found pleasure in the outdoors and with his family.

William is survived by his wife: Tamra Spencer, Warsaw; sons: Chad (Heather) Spencer, Oil Springs, Ky.; Neal Spencer, Warsaw; and Chris (Leah) Spencer, Warsaw; sisters: Veletta (Tommy) Morgan, Leander, Ky.; Diana (Paul) Adams, Leander, Ky.; and Felica (Billy Joe) Bales, Denver, Ky.; brothers: Darrell Spencer, Swamp Branch, Ky.; Terry Neal (Beth) Spencer, Leander, Ky.; his mother: Polly Spencer, Leander, Ky.; and eight grandchildren and numbers nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Funeral servics will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 28, at Phelps and Sons Funeral Home in Paintsville, Ky. Burial will be at the Spradlin Cemetery in Paintsville.
