Two upcoming Republican caucuses are being held in Kosciusko County and the slate of candidates continues to fill.

In Winona Lake, an April 18 caucus will take place to appoint a replacement for Winona Lake Town Council Ward 2. Councilman John Boal has announced his resignation. To date, Terry A. Howie, 602 Robson Rd., Winona Lake, has filed for the seat.

The Winona Lake caucus will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 18. Candidates have until 7 p.m. Monday, April 15, to file a Declaration of Candidacy with Republican Party Chairman Randall Girod.

In Milford, the unexpired term of Van Buren Township Trustee will be filled with a caucus at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 14. Elizabeth Winchester has announced her resignation.

Candidates who have thus far filed for the trustee position are Debra M. Mast, 11116 N. Orn Rd., Milford; Rebecca L. Alles, 815 E. Main St., Milford; and Linda Musselman, 309 E. Catherine St., Apt 15, Milford.

The Van Buren Township Trustee caucus will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 14. Declaration of Candidacy forms must be filed with Girod no later than 7 p.m. Saturday, May 11.
