Accidents
Officers of the North Webster Police Department recently investigated the following accidents:

Sunday, March 10, 4:50 p.m. South Main Street. A vehicle owned by Kelly A. Davis, no address given, was parked in the CVS lot but rolled out of its spot hitting another parked vehicle belonging to Lana Jarrett, Armstrong Road, Leesburg. Damage in an unspecified amount to the rear bumper of both vehicles.

Thursday, March 7, 9:17 p.m. Backwater Road and Dixie Drive. A van left the roadway knocking over a small sign and crossing Backwater Road where it went in a ditch and was stuck. The sign was straightened and there was no damage to the van. No other information was given.

Tuesday, March 5, 7:07 p.m. EMS B48 Lane. A vehicle ran off the road during a snow storm striking a NIPSCO guide wire. The protective cover of the wire was damaged as well as the truck’s door. No damage amounts were given. The driver left the scene of the crime, was located and will be charged with leaving the scene of an accident. No other information was given.

Officers of the North Webster Police Department recently investigated the following incident:

  • Thursday, March 7, 1:02 a.m. Alley behind building on North Main Street. Two juveniles were sitting in  a vehicle waiting for a third juvenile to meet them after curfew hours. They received curfew citations.
