Christopher Grady Frey, 33, of Fort Wayne, Ind., died as the result of a car-bus accident at 3:48 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, on Interstate 69, Fort Wayne.

He was born on Feb. 19, 1980, in Oceanside, Calif. He spent his childhood in California and Missouri and lived most of his adult lifetime in Indiana. He was married to Jennifer Ann Stouder on Nov. 6, 2008, in Warsaw, Ind. He was currently employed as a mechanic with Patriot Tire, Fort Wayne.

He is survived by his wife; six children: Ethan A. Brame, Missouri; Delanie and Adara L. Frey, both of Warsaw; Sierra N. Frey, Columbus, Ind.; Liddia N. Frey, Fort Wayne; Christopher Grady Frey Jr, Fort Wayne; one step-daughter: Amarae L. Stouder, Fort Wayne; his father: Leslie Fry, California; his mother: Vicki, Warsaw; and two sisters: Jennifer Brock, Warsaw; and Devin Lasko, Holman, Wis.

Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Dr., Columbia City. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 1, at the funeral home with Sharon Brockhaus, DeMoney-Grimes Certified Funeral Celebrant officiating. Burial will follow at Mentone Cemetery.

Memorial bequests may be given in Mr. Frey’s memory top St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
