In the wake of last week’s announcement by Kosciusko County Circuit Court Clerk Jason McSherry that he would be resigning his elected role, two candidates have now filed for the position. (See related story)

Ann Torpy of Mentone and Christopher S. Sanders of Warsaw have both filed their Declaration of Candidacy forms with Republican Chairman Randall Girod. A Republican Caucus is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 19.

The deadline for filing a Declaration of Candidacy with Girod is 7 p.m. Saturday, March 16. Interested eligible candidates for the position must file a Declaration of Candidacy form (CEB-5). Those are available from the Kosciusko County Clerk’s office, 121 N. Lake St., Warsaw.
