Warsaw and Winona Lake Fire Departments respond to a fire located in Merrywood Trailer Court in Warsaw.

According to Warsaw Fire Chief Mike Brubaker, the fire began in a trailer located on lot 5. Though the cause of the fire is still under investigation, Brubaker said it appears the fire began in a bedroom.

Smoke damage was reported throughout the trailer, but Brubaker said all five occupants escaped unharmed.

Squad 70 was called to the scene and is investigating the cause. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
