Lakeland Kiwanis is holding its Sweetheart Pancake Breakfast this weekend at the North Webster Community Center.

The breakfast will be from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. and cost is $5 per person for all you can eat pancakes, sausage, eggs, orange juice, milk and coffee. Children under 5 eat free.

K Kids, which is the elementary school version of Kiwanis, helped out with the breakfast by making the centerpieces. Several of the club members will also be helping by clearing tables Saturday during the breakfast.

K Kids is a great way to get kids involved in community service at an early age and hopefully they will continue to contribute to their community the rest of their lives.
