A Dense Fog Advisory issued by the National Weather Service office in Syracuse has now been extended until 4 a.m. Tuesday.

Dense fog is causing widespread visibilities of a quarter-mile or less and conditions are expected to persist throughout the evening. Conditions are expected to improve in the overnight hours when winds increase and rain moves into the area.
