A trio of area senior standouts on the high school gridiron were tabbed for the 2013 Indiana Football Coaches Association Region II All-Star squad.

The players named to the team by a vote of members coaches included the Warsaw duo of Cameron Shepherd and Taylor Cone. Shepherd was chosen as an offensive lineman and Cone, who excelled at wide receiver for the Tigers, as an at-large selection.

The Region II squad also includes Chad Eppley, an offensive lineman from Wawasee High School.

All players chosen for the team, which also included three from Jimtown and two each from Concord and Elkhart Central, are eligible to be selected to play for the North team in the annual Grange Insurance All-Star Game in Indianapolis July 19.

Recognized as Region II Coaches of the Year were Craig Redman (South Bend Adams), Bart Curtis (Mishawaka), Reggie Glon (Marian), Bob Miller (Fairfield) and Dan Klimczak (South Central).
