Ella R. Eash, 66, of Nappanee, Ind., passed away at 1:10 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Wakarusa, Ind., from complications from a lung illness.

She was born Feb. 10, 1946, in Goshen, Ind., to John and Reverend Mollie (Hoot) Haney. She married Olen Eash Oct. 12, 1963, at the Nazarene Church in Goshen.

Ella was a lifetime area resident. She attended Grace Point Presbyterian Church. Ella loved her grandchildren very much, and was very proud of them. She enjoyed planting flowers, gardening, and redecorating her home. She was a caregiver to her friends, and always thought of others.

She is survived by her loving husband; a daughter: Tonya (Jeff) Helmuth, Topeka, Ind.; sons: Randy (Penny) Eash, Goshen; Scott (Angela Stouder) Eash, Nappanee; grandchildren: Brittney Dudeck, Nicholas Eash, Justin Eash, Darren Stillson; great-grandson: Landon Eash; sister: Marie Janeack, Fremont, Ind.; and brother: Charles (Verda) Haney, Goshen.

Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, at Grace Point Presbyterian Church, 1155 N. Main St., Nappanee. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, at the church. Reverend Terry Tyler will officiate. Cremation will take place after the service and inurment will be at South Union Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be given to Grace Point Presbyterian Church.
