Crime Stoppers Promotes Woman’s Disappearance

Aurora-Shoemaker-poster-300x231Crime Stoppers is again featuring the disappearance of a young Warsaw woman, hoping a tip may bring the girl home.

On Aug. 18, 2012, the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department was notified that Aurora Shoemaker, 18, disappeared without a trace.

Shoemaker, 18, was last seen on Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012, in Suburban Acres Mobile Home Park, Warsaw. Shoemaker told a family member she was going for a walk, but she never returned. The young woman left with only the clothes she was wearing and her cell phone, which was either turned off or went dead shortly after her disappearance.

Police have followed every tip since the disappearance but are no closer to locating Shoemaker or finding out what happened to her.

Aurora is approximately 5 foot 9 inches tall, 120 pounds with short blonde hair, green eyes and lower lip piercing’s.
