A Silver Lake woman was arrested Friday by Kosciusko County undercover officers for dealing a controlled substance.

Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers recently conducted a drug investigation and filed charges against Billie Linn Mireles, 37, of Silver Lake. Officers will only say the investigation involved an “undisclosed type of prescription medication.”

Mireles was arrested on preliminary charges of felony dealing a Schedule IV controlled substance. Her bond was set at $10,000.

The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department was assisted in the investigation by the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office.

The Kosciusko County Drug Task Force consist of officers from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department that work with other local and neighboring law enforcement agencies to combat the usage and sell of illegal and illicit drugs.
