Tamara ‘Tami’ Lynn Thomas, 46, of North Manchester, Ind., passed away at 2:16 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, at Parkview Huntington Hospital in Huntington, Ind.

She was born Dec. 29, 1966, in London, England, to Roger L. and Carolyn I. (Coble) Grandstaff. Tami was a 1984 graduate of Fairfield Area High School, Fairfield, Pa., received her bachelor of arts from IPFW, and received her Master’s degree in business from Indiana Wesleyan in Marion, Ind. She worked at the Division of Family Services in Wabash, Ind., until June 2012.

She is survived by her daughter: Karyssa Thomas, North Manchester; her parents; a sister: Laura Grandstaff, Fairfield, Pa.; and her grandmother: Lena Coble, Wabash; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave., Wabash. There will be no funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
