A Republican Caucus to fill a vacancy left on the Wayne Township Advisory Board was held Wednesday evening and, among three candidates, Robert Bishop prevailed.

Bishop’s opponents were paramedic Tyler A. Huffer and lawyer Erin N. (Rowland) Jones.

The caucus, which included 20 voting members of the Kosciusko County Republican Party, was held to replace the vacancy left by Mike Reed. Reed assumed his new duties as Kosciusko County Circuit Court on Jan. 1 and stepped down from the board after serving 26 years.
