Third graders in Miss Bedford’s class at Warsaw Christian School spent part of an afternoon learning how to mix and bake Christmas cookies.
Their efforts, however, were not for themselves but for inmates at Kosciusko County Jail. They baked along with many members of Warsaw Community Grace Brethren Church who want to encourage those in jail with a homemade touch of Christmas.
More than 2,000 cookies will be delivered to inmates in packages to say merry Christmas.
