Partnering with local businesses, Washington’s Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Academy received funding for lab coats recently. Local businesses acquired lab coats with the Washington S.T.E.M. Logo and business logos to be worn by students during Lego robotic competitions and during S.T.E.M. lab experiments.

Wildman Corporate Apparel, Symmetry Medical Inc., Wihebrink Landscaping and Lawn Care, Flexaust Co., and Teacher’s Credit Union were the local businesses contributing to the Washington S.T.E.M. Academy lab coats.

Another local business, Geiger Trenchless Solutions, committed to match the funding received from the fundraiser held at Penguin Point last month.

Washington STEM Academy Students appreciate local business contributions to assist Washington STEM Academy students in the pursuit of their dreams and moving the WCS mission forward.
