James David Lanham

James David LanhamJames David Lanham, 64, of Clunette, Ind., passed away at 6:25 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012 at IU Health Hospital Goshen, Ind.

He was born on Jan. 20, 1948, to James Edmond and Dorothy (Keen) Lanham in Charleston, W.Va.

He married Kimberly Thomas on March 9, 1990, in Kentucky. He retired from Wal-Mart where he was a shift manager. James proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1965 to 1968. He attended New Hope Baptist Church in Warsaw.

He is survived by his wife: Kimberly Lanham, Clunette; two sons: James Lanham II, Clunette; and Brady (Chelsea) Lanham, Yakama, Wash.; two daughters: Wendy (Cory) Ryan, Bossier City, La.; and Crystal Kinsey, Pierceton, Ind.; a brother Garry (Kathy) Lanham, Sisonville, W.Va.; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother: Brady Lanham.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 8, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A graveside service will be held at noon Saturday at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. Chaplain Bob Jarboe will be officiating the service.
