Santa Claus is coming to Syracuse to eat breakfast with the kids and to visit with them too. Several local non-profit organizations have joined together to create Christmas memories. From 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., Santa and his helpers will be at the Syracuse Community Center, 1013 N. Long Drive, for food, fun and games.

Breakfast will be served by the Wawasee Kiwanis Club of Syracuse free to all children. Adults who would like to eat will be charged $2. Syracuse Knights of Columbus is in charge of taking each child’s photo with Santa while the Lakeland Youth Center volunteers will be making a Christmas craft with the kids and conducting a coloring contest.

Syracuse-Turkey Creek Township Library staff will be hosting a book raffle and Syracuse Boy Scout Troop 728 will provide cookies and milk for those late morning munchies.

Live musical performances will be presented by the Wawasee High School Christmas Band and singer Ivory West. The event is coordinated by the Syracuse Parks Department.

Bring the kids and grandkids out to an entertaining and enjoyable time with Saint Nicholas and his assistants.
