On Friday night, Dec. 7, the Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department will celebrate the first lighting of the holiday display at Central Park and performers for the evening are being sought.

Performances from several local school and community groups are already planned, as is a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus and their reinder.

Carolers and other performance times would be for 20 minutes to 30 minutes between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Anyone wanting to participate should call Staci Young at the parks department at 574-372-9554 Ext. 224 or email [email protected].
