Officers of the North Webster Police Department made the following arrests and investigated the following accidents and incidents:

Arrests
Monday, Nov. 12, 1 p.m. South Main Street. NWPD called to The Lodge for an altercation between mother and son. Christopher T. Warren, 24, EMS B38 B Lane, Leesburg, was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting law enforcement. He was transported to the Kosciusko County Jail.
Sunday, Nov. 4, 1:05 a.m. Crystal Flash Road. A sheriff’s deputy stopped a vehicle driven by Gene Francis Ladd, 73, Crystal Flash Road. NWPD officer performed field sobriety test and found the driver to be intoxicated. He was arrested for second operating while intoxicated with BAC above .8 percent within the past two years. He was taken to jail.
Friday, Nov. 2, 8:40 a.m. South Main Street. Catherine A. Conger, 53, Pinespring East Drive, Indianapolis, was caught removing items from packages and putting in purse at CVS. Items were recover. She was arrested on conversion charges and taken to jail.

Accidents

    1. Thursday, Nov. 8 7:21 p.m. SR !3. Bethany H. Shell, South Union Street Warsaw, reported that the vehicle she was driving clipped a deer. No age or damage amount given.
    1. Thursday, Nov. 8 6:05 p.m. North 750E. Chad M. Sherman, North 700E, Leesburg, was driving a vehicle that collided with a deer. No age or damage amount given.
    1. Thursday, Nov. 8, 5:53 p.m. North Road. Deborah L. Stringer, North Forest Drive, Syracuse, was driving a vehicle that collided with a deer. There appeared to be some damage to the vehicle. No age or damage amount given.
    1. Friday, Nov. 2, 10:10 p.m. North 850E. Nicholas R. Denney, EMS W16A Lane, reported the vehicle he was driving hit a raccoon. There appeared to be some damage to the vehicle. No age or damage amount given.

Incidents

  • Tuesday, Nov. 6, 5:06 p.m. North Main Street. Management of Circle K Gas requested a trespass warning be given to a customer.
  • Tuesday, Nov. 6 1:53 p.m. EMS W32 Lane and South Dixie Drive. Officer observed graffiti sprayed on street sign.
  • Saturday, Nov. 3, 5:15 p.m. South Main Street. A customer at CVS became belligerent when he believed items were wrongly scanned. A trespass warning was issued to the customer due to his threatening and destructive bahavior.
  • Thursday, Nov. 1, 12 p.m. North Main and North Second Street. Spray paint was used on the sides of buildings. One was the Outdoor Store and another a residential garage.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 31, 6:30 p.m. Epworth Forest Road and Panorama Drive. A female yellow lab and a male chocolate lab dogs were found and transported to the Syracuse Animal Shelter to be picked up later by Kosciusko County Animal Control.
  • Friday, Oct. 26, 11:05 a.m. Teresa Wilson, South East Street, reported her debit card was used at an ATM to withdraw money from account. She had not authorized the transaction.
