Incidents
Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following incidents:

• Nov. 13, 10:00 p.m. Charity Dragoo reported a runaway.
• Nov. 12, 12:00 p.m. Jared Knisley reported theft of his trash can in Cromwell.
• Nov. 12, 12:00 p.m. The Freedom Oil in Leesburg reported a silver passenger car drove off without paying for $10.01 in gasoline.
• Nov. 12, Carole Alspaugh reported an Oct 18 theft of aluminum siding from her lake cottage.
• Nov. 11, 7:24 p.m. Gaynell Smythe of Warsaw reported a theft from her residence.

Accidents
Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following accidents:

• Nov. 14, 4:57 a.m. N SR 19 and 1100 North Nappanee. Driver: Harlan Yoder, 23, Byrer Rd., Etna Green. Driver struck a deer. Damages: up to $2,500
• Nov. 13, 6:08 a.m. SR 13 and 600 East. Driver: Brain donakowski, 50, West Corlys Lane, Silver Lake. Driver was northbound on SR 13 when a deer entered the roadway and could no be avoided. Damages: up to $2,500
• Nov. 11, 3:17 a.m. Jeffrey Johnson reported being the victim of a hit and run on 600 W. Vehicle was traveling southbound on 600 West
