Syracuse-Turkey Creek Fire Department was called to Wawasee High School at about 7:15 a.m. this morning for a general fire alarm.

Fire officials arriving on scene initially reported nothing was visible from the outside, but upon further investigation additional personnel and a ladder truck was called to the school.

Fire crews were staging on the south side of the school near the new cafeteria.

As of 7:41 p.m., the fire department cleared the scene and returned back in service after finding no fire.
