One person was taken to the hospital after a crash that happened right at 5 p.m. in Milford.

The crash occurred on Higbee Street (SR 15) and Section Street when, according to a witness, the driver of a blue SUV failed to notice a pick-up truck making a left turn from the southbound lane of Higbee onto Section Street and rear-ended the truck.

Milford Police and Fire department personnel were on scene where traffic was being re-routed from SR 15 while the crash was investigated and cleared.
