Indiana Ranks in Top 10 for Business

A national site selection publication ranks Indiana among the top 10 states in the nation for doing business. Area Development magazine says the state topped the list in rail and highway accessibility, and tied for third in the category of states leading the economic recovery.

The publication praises Indiana’s transportation infrastructure, noting more than 4,700 railway miles and more than 11,000 highway miles. The magazine also cites the $10 billion Major Moves program.

Area Development says legislation including right-to-work, corporate income tax cuts and property tax caps helped land Indiana in the top ten.
