Corinne Coon, a WCHS graduate, recently earned conference honors as the Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week.

Coon, a junior at Greenville (Illinois) College, was named the league’s Player of the Week for her play Oct. 1-7 in the SLIAC (St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference).

Coon, a 5-10 opposite hitter, had seven kills in a 3-0 win over Blackburn College.  She then produced 15 kills, two digs, two blocks and an ace in a 3-0 victory over Fontbonne University.

Greenville College, a Division III program, is currently 16-7 overall and leads the SLIAC with a 12-1 mark.
