Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department will host the annual Fall Family Fun event from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. this Friday at Lucerne Park. Lucerne Park is located behind the Pete Thorn Center at 800 North Park Avenue, Warsaw. The event is free of charge.

This year, Fall Family Fun will feature a new interactive live bat exhibit with Incredible Bats. Egyptian Fruit Bats and African Straw-Colored Fruit Bats will be on display, and visitors will learn about the benefits of bats, which are often misunderstood and feared creatures.

The event will also host several family activities, including Fall storytelling from Warsaw Community Public Library.

There will be a petting farm that includes miniature horses, pigs, rabbits, chicks, and more. Hayrides will be provided around Pike Lake throughout the evening.  Children will also receive a goody bag with craft kits for the cabins, snacks, and more, while supplies last.
