Winona Lake Police Department will utilize Nixle Community Information Service effective Monday, Oct. 8. Nixle is a system that allows public agencies to send important community information directly to residents using the latest technology.

Nixle will allow WLPD to deliver messages via cell phone text message and/or email. Messages may include press releases, neighborhood information, road closures and other relevant safety and community information.

Warsaw Police Department also utilizes Nixle.
